Today I am sharing a homemade Grape Jam Recipe. All time favourite spread of mine is the jam. I used to have jam almost for everything (once i tried with plain rice 😛 ) when i was a kid. This is not a unique case. I know many of you may now thinking about your good old times with jams. This is a generation thing actually. I am saying this because my kid loves jam and she wants it with anything she has even if it is bread, chappathi, appam or anything. Sometimes i felt very confused about those weird combinations that she has been enjoying. But i found the reason. The jam was so amazing so that she couldn’t resist the taste.

This is my tasty homemade jam that made with grapes. Last time when i went for my monthly shopping i bought some grapes with me as it was an offer time on that. I actually bought some more for making jam for her. This Grape Jam is completely healthy as i used only healthy and fresh ingredients. This one is more lively than those canned preserved jams that we buy from the stores. I didn’t add any food colour and it is completely natural colour. I want all of you try it and get amused!

  • Step 4

When it turns to jam consistency, Add lime juice to it and mix well. Switch off heat. Transfer to the sterilised bottle after 15 minutes. Close the lid.

Tips & variations

  • To know the jam consistency:- Put a drop of jam in water taken in a small plate. If it doesn’t dissolve in it, then we can say that it reaches the jam consistency. If it dissolves in it, we have to cook it for some more time.
