Double Decker Coffee Pudding/ Coffee Pudding

This Double Decker Coffee Pudding is a delightful coffee flavoured easy to prepare creamy dessert for you sunny and lousy evenings. I always wanted to have some sweet after my meal. This is the same thing for my hubby too. It is not possible to have all the ingredients that fits for a pudding all the time. So once I prepared a pudding of coffee and some other ingredients that actually left in my fridge. But I should admit it guys it was a flavour blast. What it turns out into a wonderfully flavoured pudding form. After that, I added some changes into it and made it to two layers.

The initial layer is made of coffee and the goodness of milk and cocoa powder which is a creamy layer while the second layer is the plain coffee layer. But once it present together into one. It gives amazing debut for the pudding. My dear foodies this Double Decker Coffee Pudding is so easy and can set within the time of 20 minutes. First Layer:-

  • Instant Coffee Powder – 2 tspn
  • Gelatin – 2 ½ tspn
  • Cold Water – 1/4 cup
  • Milk – 2 ½ cup
  • Sugar – 4 levelled tbspn
  • Cocoa powder  – 1 tbspn

Second Layer:-

  • Instant Coffee Powder – 2 tspn
  • Gelatin – 2 ½ tspn
  • Cold Water – 1/4 cup
  • Boiling water – 2 ½ cup
  • Sugar – 4 levelled tbspn
  • Vannilla essence – 1 tspn

First Layer:-

  1. Mix the gelatin in 1/4 cup of cold water.
  2. In a sauce pan, boil 2 1/2 cup milk. Once boiled, add 4 tbsp of Sugar to the water and stir well.
  3. Remove the pan from flame and add Instant Coffee and cocoa powder to this mixture. Sieve it and pour to a bowl. Add the Gelatin mixture to this and stir well.
  4. When it cools, Pour this on to a mould and refrigerate for setting. Or place it in freezer for half an hour.

First Layer:-

  1. Mix the gelatin in 1/4 cup of cold water.
  2. In a sauce pan, boil 2 1/2 cup water. Once boiled, add 4 tbsp of Sugar to the water and stir well.
  3. Remove the pan from flame and add Instant Coffee to this mixture. Add the Gelatin mixture to the prepared coffee and stir well.
  4. When it cools, Pour this over the first layer and refrigerate for setting. Demould it to a plate and serve it.
