Apple Salad/ Apple Carrot Salad

Starting your meals with a bowl of salad will help you attain weight loss. Not a joke, it’s true because salads are low in calories, high in fibre and rich in other nutrients. Fibre helps you feel full making you eat, the remaining meal less and ultimately lose weight. It is a lots of salad recipes nowadays right foodies? Do not worry it is only because I do care about your health. I have tried plenty varieties of salads using very differentiable mixing of vegetables and fruits. Today I’am sharing an Apple Salad Recipe.

The summer is here and the sunshine is near. So let give try for another healthy salad. This is a complete health salad as it contains apples and carrots as the main ingredients. While applesauce and apple juice do contain some valuable vitamins and antioxidants, eating apples in their whole form will give you the synergistic blend of nutrients and fibre the way nature intended. This is important for a number of reasons. For instance, apples are often thought of as a high-fibre food and many of its heart health benefits are linked to a type of fibre called pectin. This is Apple Salad flavoured in honey, milk and mayonnaise and some other flavours. You won’t believe me until you try it. So do not waste time.

  • Apple – 1
  • Carrot – 1
  • Parsley(nicely chopped)
  • Lemon juice
  • Sugar
  • Milk
  • Salt
  • Soya sauce – little
  • Mayonnaise
  • Honey

  1. Cut apple and carrot into small pieces.
  2. Take 1 tspn of lemon juice, Sugar, Milk in a bowl and mix well. Add required salt and little soya sauce to it and stir well.
  3. Add chopped apple and carrot to it and mayonnaise and mix everything well. Finally add nicely chopped parsley to this salad and give a stir.
  4. Drizzle a tspn of honey before serving.


You can increase or reduce the amount of any ingredient according to your taste.
